I was born and raised in California.  I spent most of my childhood right here in the Napa Valley and like most kids, I had no idea how good I had it.  The weather here is perfect, there is an abundance of fresh fruit and vegetables to be had all year round.   I am one of seven children and only now that I have 2 children of my own can I appreciate what it must have been like for my saint of a Mother.  I honestly don't know how she did it. 

 I never could have imagined how truly different my life would be once I became a mother.  It was in fact my own passage into motherhood which called me to support other women on their mothering journey.

I believe in community support and postpartum care as potent preventative medicine in woman’s health.
